The Tesla Owners Club of Santa Clarita Valley has transitioned from an officially registered not-for-profit organization to an informal, community-run owners group.
This change allows us to reduce ongoing costs such as website hosting, insurance, and member-management tools while still keeping the local Tesla community active and connected.
Our website is now a simple information page. All news, events, and updates will be shared on social media.

Why is the club changing its structure?
We chose to dissolve our formal not-for-profit status so we can operate more simply and sustainably. Maintaining official status required ongoing expenses such as insurance, website hosting, and administrative tools. Moving to a free, informal community lets us stay active without those costs.
What happens to my paid membership?
We sincerely appreciate all paid members. Every membership dollar was used to support the club through web hosting, insurance, event support, and other operating expenses. With this transition, all memberships are now free, and no further dues will be collected.
Is the club shutting down?
No. The community, meetups, and events will continue. We are simply changing how we operate, focusing on the people and the community rather than formal administration.
